A variety of Australian butterflies. All taken with the A7r3 and Sony 100-400, handheld, without flash.
1. Australian lurcher (Yoma sabina). 300mm at f/16, 1/100s, ISO 640.
2. Chequered swallowtail (Papilio demoleus). 400mm at f/16, 1/200s, ISO 640.
3. Blue tiger (Tirumala hamata). 400mm at f/16, 1/50s, ISO 640.
4. Cairns birdwing (Ornithoptera euphorion). 268mm at f/16, 1/30s, ISO 640.

Amazing. Especially the last one. Not only for its artistry, but for its exposure specs.
That's a heck of a hardware combination, endowed with a superb operator.

The IS system is really effective - no way I could have handheld at 268mm 1/30s or 400mm 1/50s without it.
