Everything about this lens is in superb condition. I have the Otus 28mm, 55, & 85 and they are all industry leading sharp and have the Zeiss superb contrast even in very small details. They are virtually artifact free and suffer a near complete absence of chromatic aberration, even in the corners. Speaking of the corners, the lens is razor sharp corner to corner. Focusing the lens is a joy, very precise and the rotation has a buttery feel. This may be my favorite of all the Otus lenses, it just has a field of view and compression that is ideal for a lot of landscape scenes I photograph.
