Title: The Edge of Darkness
Post by: maddogmurph on May 11, 2020, 02:54:09 pm
Pretty much from San Francisco north, the coastline is tricky, and mostly miss, with the occasional hit. I went out this weekend to the Redwoods to see if the rhododendrons were blooming. I was early! They are just starting, but not quite going yet. I guess I'll have to go back...

However, I took a detour to bowling ball beach, and I hit! Although for some reason I processed this Seascape first instead, which was the next day. It's actually probably too dark in the shadows, was just posting here to look at it on my phone before I roll it out.

Swirling water reflecting the golden light, bird atop rock in silhouette, plenty to look at and admire.

It's a beauty.

I have to agree and wouldn't change a thing, although it might be difficult to print with all those darker tones, but as a digital file, it's just as Eric describes.
