I think this one of the better uses of the shallow DOF (from a Fuji 90 F2), small and isolated elements of early spring. I was going for a Japanese painting feel.

I also tried the 35 F1.4, which has a even nicer bokeh, but I came with less keeper than I hoped. Here are a few examples (the first and the fourth from the second set are also from the 35).
