Title: Processing 1300 B&W 4x5 Negative Scans - Help
Post by: BradSmith on April 25, 2020, 04:59:22 pm
I have 1300 4x5 B&W negs that I want to digitize with my Oly EM-1 and 30mm macro lens.  I have a copy stand, negative holder and light source, so I know how to create the digital RAW files.    I then want to get them into Lightroom for editing to "proof sheet" quality and then organization.  I want to be able to do batch processing as much as possible.  I want the editing controls to work in the normal manner, not in a reversed manner.  I need your advice on the processing software and process that is quickest/easiest to do for this many negatives. I have Lightroom and Photoshop and Vuescan.  I've heard of a program that is a LR plugin called Negative Lab Pro.   And I remembered a highly detailed article by Mark Segal 5 or 6 years ago about digital copying of negatives, but couldn't find it.
thanks,
Brad
