Beautiful, Rajan! I gather you used a drone. The last one makes me wish I still were flying.

Absolutely gorgeous, Rajan.
After the bleakness of central Iceland, it's so refreshing to see the lushness of Goa.

I find the relationship between the dome and the mountain peak very effective in #1. Well done.

Great shots, and nice to see the surroundings of the temple.
Beautiful composition in the first image - with the colorful temple, middleground band and the mountain in the distance.

Just beautiful, Rajan.  Great video on the link too, with Lata Mangeshkar in the background.

Gave me goosebumps....thanks for sharing.

:Niranjan.

P.S. About the temple - is this a functioning one or abandoned?  Looks to be a great shape to be the latter.

Thank you, Niranjan and maddog.

Niranjan - it is very much a functioning temple.

I figured so, but I as thrown off by the fact that there were no people around.  I guess it must be the time of the day and the weather.

Imagine the culture shock, flying back and forth from that landscape to Iceland!

Beautiful, as usual, Rajan.  I loved the area around Goa.

Thank you, Peter.

Niranjan - the village is in the hinterland, not on the tourist circuit. Village folk were either at home or in the fields working. Your remarks remind me that this is how Goan villages used to be in my childhood.

Probably about the time I visited.  Took he boat down from Bombay in the late seventies.  Many changes to my second favourite country sine then!
