Team,
I have recently started to use C1 Pro Luminosity masks to tune the white balance of shadows very easily, in particular for forest images where there is a complex mix of sunlit areas and shadow areas.
I was just curious whether many of you we doing this or not?
Thanks.
Cheers,
Bernard

Yes I am using that technique. I tend to use it in conjunction with the shadow colour balance wheel. I suppose that would be normal practice. I still prefer luminosity masks in PS for really fussy work.

I just wanted to add I. Case I created the wrong impression how enjoyable I find C1 to use. Something about the interface and the feel of the various sliders and tools that make the program a real pleasure.
I’m not really comfortable with the catalogue side of things but I use it anyway.

Thanks for the feedback Martin!
