Title: Latest Lightroom update allows use of PSB files

It appears that finally you can save Large Format Files in LR as PSBs and they are visible just like PSDs or Tiffs!

Within reason. It’s not full PSB support.  :-[

I'm not very experienced using PSB files. Could you please explain what you mean by "not full support"? Thanks.

LR is still limited at maximum dimensions (not greater than 65,000px long edge and no more than 512 MP).
(PSB) supports documents up to 300,000 pixels in any dimension.

I recently went from LR to PS to do some content aware fill work on a pano. I did enough that I couldn’t save it as a TIFF so I was limited to a PSB.  LR has no problem reading the PSB.

I will check on the pixel dimensions in LR to see if I’m missing anything.

Thanks, Andrew, for explaining this so clearly.
