Now THAT's "Street!"
You caught the perfect instant. Bravo!

Good timing, Russ.

Thanks Eric and Rajan.
And Rajan, I think that in street photography timing is almost everything. I was lucky to catch it at that point. That's happened many times. As HCB once said: "It's always luck. It's luck that matters. You just have to be receptive... that's all." Here's another, from a couple years ago that was luck too. I've posted it before. I wish I could have taken one more step toward camera left so the kid in the wheelchair would have been exposed, but I had to shoot at that instant, before the woman moved the hand with the beer and the cigarette. Luck. Being receptive.

Or slightly to the right where the boy would have been framed in the singer's arm. I do have a particular love of pictures where there is more than one event going on at the same time.

Maybe Times Square would be a good place to try.

Not been to the US - but of course there are lots of other very busy places. But I really meant something else going on - but not too cluttered. So possibly two simultaneous stories, where one is the dominant and the other interesting but not confusing the picture. I have a project in mind......

As Tuco Ramirez said in "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," "When it's time to shoot, shoot."
