From last October. Taken standing in the sea trying to pan the incoming waves with a 200mm lens at 1/8s and scamper back up the beach when necessary. Unfortunately the image with the best wave had a totally crap background and the best background had a nondecript wave, so the best of both worlds with a merge. Ken

I like it very much. Well worth wet feet!

Very powerful image, I love it. Whatever conditions you had, it is a winner for me!

I like it and maybe even more just the wave without the surroundings...
But what happened, some kind of filter?
-
Peter their was a very strong offshore wind that was tearing the tops off of the waves. I was panning to keep the wave sharpish and this is the result. The sea colour is fairly natural around the NW shore of Scotland. Ken

I like it a lot.
It's much more exciting than any of the many bad surf shots I have attempted.

Nicely done Ken!

Well done!

Nicely done Ken, very dramatic image you have there and I know from experience how difficult it is to get anything usable with ICM - as discussed here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKoLINBLUwA), with part II here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZQ5vtEE11E) for anyone who is unaware of this style and technique of photography.
I think in all the times I have tried ICM over the years, I have managed to get only one that was worthy of all the effort, so again well done, because it isn't easy and yet you have proved how valuable it can be, so I am going to have yet another go at this in the future, so thanks ;)

It is for me, too. Just wonderful.

Powerful. I like and agree with the previous positive comments.
