Title: The Look, The Hit, and the Meal
Post by: Chris Calohan on January 26, 2020, 11:36:20 am
This was shot as a 12 shot sequence lasting just over a second, though the hit and grab took less that 1/2000th of a second but it shows just how fast these Herons and Bitterns are when it comes to fishing.

Good catch: amusingly weird. How did you blend them?

Really just a series of cut and paste images stacked in an order whereas you can make out the sequence from beginning to end. This is where quick select by subject and masking works so well in each layer. It's fun but tedious. The original sequence was 12 frames but I narrowed it down to the 7 most essential.
