Title: Printing from Capture One 12
Post by: sanvandur on January 13, 2020, 01:32:40 pm
I'm printing from Capture One 12 on Mac OS 10.14.6. Some print fine, others don't. The ones that don't, the printer runs the entire sheet of paper through the printer without printing anything. I'm printing on standard A3+ paper (not borderless). Any ideas? Thanks

The last time I used C1 for any sort of direct printing, I found it to be a very mixed bag of success with similar (though not exactly the same) issues to what you are seeing. Very likely pilot error on my part, no doubt, but in the couple of years since, I've both changed printers and changed how I print. I use Qimage One and it works really well for what I do and you can tie it in with C1 (I use it through process recipes for printing one image at a time). I enjoy using it and it produces superb prints. It gives you a lot of flexibility and control. You'll find others here who like the software as well. Check it out: https://www.binartem.com/qimageone/ and it's certainly reasonably priced. (Not trying to sell it to you, but I do really like the software).

Cheers,
Ray

Hi,

This doesn't really help you very much with your problem, but for it's worth I've printed quite a lot via Capture One 12 onto A3+ via a Epson P800, but on Windows 10 rather than Mac. Have never seen the problem you've described. The few problems that I have had always turned out to be user error on my part.

Regards,

Andy.
