Title: Capture One Ver 20 - Styles added to a layer

I can not seam to add a style to a layer. I created a layer, Selected the style right click on it "Apply to selected layer" and "Apply to New Layer" are grayed out???

It may be that the style contains adjustments than can be applied only globally.

Thank you for the reply. I hope you are wrong, I purchased the styles from Capture One because it was stated they could be applied to layers :(

B&W styles can't be added to a layer. There are a handful of other adjustments that can't be added to layers that might be part of a style set - I can't recall off the top of my head what they are.

Which style or styles are you trying to apply?

That explains why I can not add! I was trying to add B&W styles. I purchase all of them from Capture One. Now where did it state that you could not add B&W styles to a layer. Even the Help tells you can and does not state except B&W! Bummer!!!

I can't remember how I knew that, maybe from one of their webinars or some such. But yes, I can't find the statement explicitly anywhere on their site (but I've not gone through everything there, obviously).

You can create a variant, and apply the B&W style to that.
