Is there any way to control the amount or density of ink that a Canon iPF8400 puts down on any given paper? I know I found something once in the manual that talks about the various "Special" paper types as using different amounts of ink put I haven't been able to find it again.

Special 1-5 is photo black ink in increasing amounts starting at 1 for lowest up to 5 for highest.
Special 6-10 is matte black ink in increasing amounts starting at 6 for lowest up to 10 for highest.

(documents Special 1-5)
"Special 1 to Special 5 are used for photo black and Special 6 to Special 10 are for matte black. The amount of ink
Shiraz Software Profiling the Canon ipf printers put down on the printer also varies from about 160% for Special 1
to about 240% for Special 5. Similar for Special 6 to Special 10."
