Title: Changing Light

From a few weeks ago and taken on a very brief tour of some of the more northern regions of Scotland.

The notches you can see down the edge of the hill (or small mountain) on the right of the shot, were created by the flow of glaciers during several different ice ages - I believe.

Enjoyed the image. Looks like a great location. Those mountains must catch light sometime.

Yes I am sure they do Rajan, but unfortunately on my whirlwind one night visit to this area, the skies were a bit leaden for the first few hours in the morning. Although as I travelled around later in the afternoon before heading back home, the skies did start to open up and give me some really lovely clouds and even a few spectacular rays of light to work with, which was totally unexpected and nothing like the weather forecast, which said it was going to be sunny, but which turned out to be much more enjoyable instead.

Very nice, Dave. Atmosphere, tonality, gentle curves. Good composition as well, which is usually rather difficult to achieve in panoramas.

Lovely vista with this vast expanse of nature and the three mountains shrouded by the fog/clouds.
