I like the contrail...it's a marker in time. Contrails have been with us less than one hundred years. I use them in my paintings when the surrounds are timeless. It gives the viewer a bit of info as to when I made the work. To me it's a wonderful and welcomed addition...

Yes Peter, the contrail is an essential element in the frame. More, if the contrail wasn’t there, it would not be a keeper for me. But I do respect other vision on the subject.
