Title: Sony A7II Noise Beeping Chirping
Post by: spassig on December 06, 2019, 01:48:53 am
Hello

I've had the above camera since about 2015.
Since some time I hear a stronger beeping, chirping when I turn on the camera.
Like when the autofous is working.
But I haven't focused yet.
Steady Shot is on or off.
AF is on.
Lens is Zeiss Vario-Tessar FE 4/24-70 ZA OSS
When I remove the lens, I don't hear anything on the camera.
When I move the lens (changing the front lens up and down) I hear a rattling sound. The rattling in the lens is caused by a round part which you can see when you look into the lens at the lens mount.
I can't hear anything when I turn the lens.
Does anyone have any idea what it might be?
Cane someone look who has this lens to moving round part?
Later I will put in the sound here.

Jochen

Edit: That is a link from dropbox with noise.
It is a WAV file.
