Hi all,
As I mentioned some months back when I announced the wrapping up of The Luminous Endowment and the creation of the Michael Reichmann Project Grant (link: https://luminous-landscape.com/photolucida-announces-the-michael-reichmann-project-grant/)
... we are now ready to start offering Michael's beautiful retrospective book in time for holiday gift giving. All proceeds will go to The Michael Reichmann Project Grant.
Special edition signed copies will be $150 USD, unsigned books will be $80 USD. These are extremely rare and will not be reprinted.
I will be publishing a longer post on the main page in coming days, but I thought the community would like an early heads up. There will be a Shopify link on the site.

I get an error message when selecting shipping options:
"Your cart has been updated and the items you added can’t be shipped to your address. Remove the items to complete your order."
This happens regardless of where the shipping address is (USA or Canada).
The email address on the page "sales@luminous-landscape.com" just bounces all emails as well.

I just ordered a copy. Thanks so much for making them available to us. As I've told you before, it was indeed a privilege to have spoken with your Father both at Photo Plus in NYC and a few times on the phone. Michael was one of the kindest and most approachable folks I've ever met.
Over the years I've come into contact with many celebrated people in the industry and none were more willing to engage with others or help then your Dad was.

I am delighted to see that remaining copies of this excellently produced book of Michael's work are being made available at a more accessible price. Not only will the proceeds benefit photographers in ways that he would have approved but those buying will be rewarded with a book that will please not only themselves but anyone with whom they share it. It may reduce the 'collector value' temporarily but it was not bought for that reason but to enjoy, and yes, to learn from and on those criteria has repaid the cost manifold.
I bought one of the boxed and signed original offering and not only is it much enjoyed and cherished but it is one of the rare photography books that non-photographer friends are keen to reprise time and again when visiting - my copy must have been seen by more than forty different people and multiple times in many cases in addition to it's 'outings' to camera clubs as a discussion point.
With absolutely no personal axe to grind I recommend it to anyone who has not yet got a copy.

I ordered my copy yesterday and looking forward to receiving it. :) Since I'm already subscribed to Brooks Jensen's LensWork Monograph series, I have the monograph that is offered as an extra in addition to a folio of Mr. Reichmann's work.

Is there anyway to find out if my order has even been shipped. I placed my order last week, received an email stating "Your order is on the way", however there is no estimate of delivery date, shipping number, etc. My order # is 1028.

The signed copies come in a cardboard case. The unsigned do not.

As I was finishing shovelling my driveway for the second time this morning, the mail truck pulled up and delivered a rather heavy square box. Since the only package I was expecting was Michael's book I had resigned to not see it before the new year. I will now be able to sit down and enjoy the bringing in the new year with this book! My God it's heavy!

I just got my copy, and it seems a marvelous book! I am planning on setting aside some quiet time each day to slowly go through it. I knew Michael was a skilled photographer, but I had no idea how skilled.

I haven't received any tracking or delivery information and it now Jan 7th and I still haven't received the book. When I clicked on the Customer Support option on the web site I didn't get any response. Can you look into the status for my order?

A batch of books were withheld by the shipping station when we ran out of monographs. This would be the reason for the delay. They have since been sent out. I’ll retrieve your tracking number and personal message you.

The issue regarding tracking numbers in now moot as I have received the book. I am still wondering, however, about the Monograph that was to be included but that I didn't get with my book. I asked about it a week ago but haven't gotten any response. Is there a time frame in which I should expect to receive the Monograph? It was order number 1067.

I can't speak for Josh, but I believe that the monograph that you are asking about, which were originally published by LensWork magazine back in April 2014 and may be out of print.

I am sure that it is out of print, which made the offer of including it with the purchase of the book more appealing. But when I got the book the Monograph was not included as promised. This is why I am trying to find out about it.

Sorry for the late reply, you (anyone) can also always direct message me. Perhaps you did and I over looked it, but I’m generally good at not doing so.
We ran out of monographs during shipping. I am sorry if the monograph was essential in your deciding to purchase. My initial desire was to have them be not put to waste as we have to close our storage centre, so I’m glad that they were offered, unfortunately we ran out during shipping.
If I’d known, I would have tried to track the last order with the last monograph, but I was not privy to that.
We did our best to offer these for free and when they ran out we were not immediately alerted.
