Title: Photoshop CS6 re-install looking fuzzy on a 4K monitor...?
Post by: Dinarius on November 25, 2019, 02:04:37 pm
I've just reinstalled CS6.

The images look OK on it, but not as good now as in C1 - the opposite of how it used to be.

Tool icons and menus in CS6 are a little fuzzy on this BenQ SW271 4k. I'm as sure as I can be that they were sharper in the previous installation.

Anything I can do to change this?

Or is CS6 just not made for 4K? (And if so, how would Photoshop CS look on 4K?)

Thanks.

D.

I updated CS6 after the reinstall. Looked fab the other day, but poor now. Not sure what I did differently.

To fix your blurry fonts in Photoshop CS6 you need to Enable High DPI scaling for the Photoshop CS6.  The scaling you want is called "System Enhanced".   There is an article in How-to-Geek on how to do this in Windows 10 called: How to Make Windows Work Better on High-DPI Displays and Fix Blurry Fonts.

https://www.howtogeek.com/175664/how-to-make-the-windows-desktop-work-well-on-high-dpi-displays-and-fix-blurry-fonts/

Go to the selection called "Override System DPI Scaling for an Application with Blurry Fonts" and follow the steps to fix Photoshop CS6.
