Title: Snow Capped
Post by: Dave (Isle of Skye) on November 23, 2019, 07:03:18 pm
Went out the other week just after we'd had our first covering of snow on the tops of the mountains and unfortunately the sky was completely empty of clouds and nothing but wall to wall blue all day long (yes Bill this really does happen up here you know :P). So I thought to myself, I know, I'll get out my new "One Shot Ansel Adams Filter" and give that a try and here is the result.

Hope you all like it  ;)

Dave

PS: only pulling your leg on the AA filter BTW  ;D

Very good idea and a powerful graphic. A bit too crunchy for my taste (looks much more mellow as a thumbnail ;) )

Yes I did go for an 'old school' contrasty look and yes I have probably gone a tad too far with one of the various sliders, but this is really just a throw away image and a sort of first try experiment for me and an idea I intend to get into in a much more serious way over this coming winter.

Thanks for commenting though Slobodan  ;)
