Title: Hasselblad HC lenses on X1D with AF
Post by: rollsman44 on November 10, 2019, 09:42:33 am
OK, I am somewhat confused on what I have been reading. For instance: Only the Newer HC lenses with the Firmware 18.0 and above will allow the X1D to AF with the adaptor. Can someone please clarify this for me. I would like to use the HC 80/2.8 with an adaptor on my X1D and with AF. Thanks

Yes.

To put it another way. Older HC lenses with Firmware <18.0 will not allow the X1D to AF with the adaptor.

You can but unless it is a very late one then it will be Manual Focus. You can not update Lens firmware <18.0.
You can read the Firmware version in "About".
