Title: X-Rite i1Display Pro Calibration Results
Post by: Kit-V on October 14, 2019, 07:15:38 pm
After using the NEC SpectraViewII colorimeter for years, I switched to the X-Rite i1Display Pro sensor. Calibrating my display & creating a profile seemed straightforward. However, after the profile was created, I am unable to locate the calibration results comparing the specified target levels to the actual calibration results. Can someone kindly help me>

Thank you.

Not sure what you're not seeing assuming you're using SpectraView. You don't see this?

Sorry, Andrew, if I didn't myself clear. I am no longer using SpectraView. Rather I am now using the X-Rite i1Display Pro sensor. I am trying to locate the calibration results in i1Display Pro. I can't seem to find it.

Are you using an NEC SpectraView display? You really, really want to be using their software instead if so.

I am using an NEC P221W display. The MacOS Catalina requires the 10.40 version  of the SpectraViewII software. Unfortunately, the P221W display will not support that version. Thus, I opted to buy  the X-Rite i1Display Pro. The i1Profiler software seems to work fine in creating a profile. I just want to be able to see the actual calibration compared to the targets that I identified.

Another reason to avoid Catalina like the plague.

Andrew, I agree that I should have waited until the bugs have been eradicated from Catalina before I upgraded.

However, back to my original question: After the profile was created using  the X-Rite i1Display Pro sensor, I am unable to locate the calibration results comparing the specified target levels to the actual calibration results. Where would they be located?

Thank you.

I would suggest calling x-rite support. I have found it to be very helpful.

FYI... I spoke with tech support at X-Rite today. Once the X-Rite i1Display Pro completes the sensor, there is an icon which shows the results of the calibration including the target values vs. the calibrated results.
