Title: 2200 empty ink light but multiple new cartridges.
Post by: grepmat on November 21, 2006, 10:01:27 pm
Hello all,

I have an Epson 2200. Recently, I (apparently) ran out of an ink during a print. Upon changing the ink, the empty light remained on. The control panel claimed it was still empty. I tried a different new cartridge with the same result. I cycled the power, turned it off for a long, long time, etc., with no change. Repeated all of the above several times, with no change. Ran through Epson's on-line help protocol with no benefit.

Does anyone know of a diagnosis or any tricks for getting a 2200 to recognize that it does in fact have a full cartridge in it?

Thank you.
