Title: How to get raw files on my computer
Post by: mdijb on September 15, 2019, 04:44:09 pm
I am using Procamera app that takes a jpg and raw file.  On the phone, the title clearaly show the image is Both, but when trying import the raw file into Lightroom, it apparently does not see the raw version and imports only the jpg version.

How can I import the raw file?

I synchronize my iPhoto images with Photos app on the Mac via iCloud. In the Photos app, the images that contain JPG + RAW are marked with an icon in the top corner. "Export unmodified original" exports both the raw and the jpg file.

There is probably a simpler way.

Correction.  Problem  solved. In the import window in Lightroom, the images appear as DNG files but without any thumbnails,  In lightroom they after importing these, they appear as DNG file.  The lack of a thhumbnail initially confused me.
