Title: Giant tortoise
Post by: shadowblade on August 02, 2019, 09:18:05 am
Torture testing the A7r3's tracking system. After all, every torture test needs a baseline which is almost impossible to miss...

Aldabran giant tortoise. Native to Aldabra, an atoll in the Seychelles, these are second only to the Galapagos giant tortoise in size.

A7r3 with 100-400 GM and 1.4x TC. First image at 560mm, second at 531mm. Both at f/8, 1/500s, ISO 600.

The second, with the cigarette-holder look, makes for a completely different perspective. Like the farmer peering over his fence, chewing on a straw clenched in his mouth. Classic.
