I like the near/far composition. It works perfectly and it's not a given… The sky seems a bit dark but it fits the title perfectly.

The sky was that dark, I only happened to have a fleeting patch of sun just in front of me.

On the technical side, this is a focus stack from 5 shots, Nikon Z7, table tripod (good decision on this one, the hike was a roughly 4000 feet elevation gain, continuous climb, initially quite hot outside)

I always love the blue yellow complimentary colors in photos.

Thanks Armand. Sometimes nature looks slightly unnatural. I also have quite a few shots that look that way although they never "saw" Photoshop or grad filters.

Anyway, I like it a lot!
