A couple of years back, I lost a good friend to a tragic accident and this photo is very much in the style that Ray shot...saw it and had to pay homage to his memory.

A wonderful image to honor a good friend....

Ray was one of those really nice guys...very spiritual, and had only officially been retired from teaching for 7 days when, for whatever reason other than complacency, he made a left turn in front of a fully loaded dump truck. Ray was on a bicycle. Two things happened to him that morning; one, he was pretty much gone in a flash, and two, everything that was still intact went to someone else in need...skin, liver, heart, kidneys, corneas, pancreas, bones, you name it live in someone else now. So in effect, while he's physically gone, he still lives on in others.
This is Ray and his image I chose to pay homage to.

Thanks, Chris, for these additions to the memorial tribute.
