Title: Federal Territory Mosque, Kuala Lumpur
Post by: shadowblade on July 25, 2019, 10:58:32 am
Another shot taken while I was in Malaysia attending a conference.

For some reason, this one reminds me of something out of Star Wars.

Taken from the Publika Gallery shopping mall just after sunset.

A7r3 with 24-70/2.8 GM. 49mm, f/8, ISO 100. Multiple 2.5-second exposures, selectively added and averaged in post-processing for correct exposure. Slight cropping for improved composition in post-processing.

I like it. I was in KL in October 2015, but the city was covered in smoke from forest fires coming off Indonesia. My bad luck.

It's one of the common stopovers on flights out of Australia, so I often stay for one or two days on the way to/from somewhere else.

The haze in 2015 was exceptional - it's really cleared up the last few years, due to reduced uncontrolled burning in Sumatra.
