Title: The Wizard - Kinda Freaky
Post by: Colorado_CJ on July 24, 2019, 08:58:11 pm
Another clear night means another photo. This time I shot the Wizard Nebula. This one is kinda freaky as you can see the Wizard with his hands out-stretched while he screams.

Shot for 5 hours total and edited in the Hubble Palette.

20, 300 sec H-Alpha
20, 300 sec SII
20, 300 sec OIII

Shot using the following:

Skywatcher MN190, 1000mm F5.2 Maksutov Newtonian
EQ8-R Pro
ZWO ASI183MM Pro
Skywatcher 72ED Guide Scope
ZWO ASI120 MC-S Guide Camera

I think this is incredible. I am stunned that you can shoot such stuff. I was under the obviously mistaken impression that you needed a telescope floating in space to get stuff like this

The low level of noise and the clean stars are especially good here.
