A 8x10” crop would bring more balance in the image.

I could say: Use a 8x10" camera for better balance.  8)

That may explain your problem, Ivo. You're trying to use an 8 x 10 view on a tripod for your "street" shots.  ;D

Russ, you seem to be spending a lot of time in the restaurants. Wouldn't it be more profitable to photograph the dishes and write reviews?

Maybe more profitable, Les, but less fun. A lot of what I've been posting lately I've dug out of my catalog. You can see a lot of the street photography at http://www.russ-lewis.com/street/index.html.

Interestingly, last several days I've been getting a rush of viewers from China for that street collection. Don't know why.
