I think the narciccisitic maniac up the steps is about to contribute more than his worth to global warming under the guise of hope, glory and a few more steps for mankind.
The mop in the foreground (which I envy!) is watching with incredulity that today, in this day and age, anyone would still... you get the message.

It was the start of a 50 miles Kennedy march. My wife is training for a 100km march in August and walked the 50 miles last night.

If my wife suddenly decided she was off on a fifty-mile "hike in the nite", I simply would not have believed her. I would have objected strongly and pointed out her responsibilities to the children, if not to me.
Fortunately, I was the one who sometimes had to work all night, but then I could produce the prints to prove it.
