I just upgraded to CN 7. On start-up, I now don't have the list of available profiles that were there in CN 6. I used to be able to switch by right-clicking on the icon and selecting the desired profile. This was a great feature for softproofing. Is it possible to get it on 7?
I haven't found much on 7. Is it a significant improvement, or should I have stayed on 6?

Hi Jeff, I think you're talking about ColorNavigator by Eizo, and you're moving from version 6 to version 7. If I have this wrong let me know. When you mention profiles, I think you're talking about the list of presets under "Targets" in CN6 which Eizo is now calling "Color Modes" in CN7. Eizo has a manual for ColorNavigator that is specifically for helping with the upgrade from 6 to 7. You can download it here:
https://www.eizoglobal.com/support/db/files/manuals/03V27668C1/UM-03V27668C1-EN.pdf
Page 4 says:
When upgrading the application from ColorNavigator 6, targets used in ColorNavigator 6 will be migrated into ColorNavigator 7 and will be used as targets in “Advanced Mode”.
Hope that helps!

Thanks Pat. That's exactly what I was after. My apologies for being less than explicit. I have too much going on and shouldn't have even contemplated doing this. Fools rush in as usual.

Last year, I switched to 7 for about a month after which I returned to 6. I didn't find any real advantage to 7 aside from the fact that it recalibrate all profiles in one go. Otherwise, I didn't find it as intuitive or worth the switch. That said, old habits die hard and perhaps there is some other benefit which I had missed?

Thanks Mick. I may follow your example. I have a couple of CG222W hanging around which aren’t supported by 7. I suspect that Apple will come up with something to force me to 7 down the line.
