The line is thin.
-
Certainly ambiguous!
-
Excellent, that one makes you pause for a sec. And B&W being totally appropriate...
-
Well done!

Tx. I like the cross and it’s leading line to the bride.

This is a wedding? Why is that hearse waiting?

I took this to be the whole point of the image. "Facts of life", life and death.

Really? So after the wedding who are we going to haul away in the hearse? The bride? The groom?
-
Very busy church...weddings and funerals, back to back.

Absolutely. A hearse always livens up a wedding.

I guess I'd substitute "unintelligibility" for "ambiguity" in this case. Might make a pretty good abstract.
:o 8) :(

It's a good shot, Ivo. And I'm having a lot of fun with it.

I officially made a street photograph. The hearse can be mine now. My bucket list is checked out.

It's the Saint-Carolus Borromeus church in Antwerp, Belgium. Designed by Peter Paul Rubens, stuffed with Rubens finest ceiling and wall frescos, paintings, etc.
It is a popular place to get married, and also for funerals, baptism, etc....

If you make it to Antwerp, the home town of Rubens (my town of birth), I will guide you with pleasure and proud.

American Bridezillas would sue the church, the city of Antwerp, the Vatican, and the funeral company for ruining their wedding.

And me, for photographing them from an unflattering angle...
