Interesting style. Definitely not a naturally looking photograph but an interesting way to tackle the harsh sunlight.

this image is mostly infrared. I used modified D800 all pass camera (UV-VIS-IR) and added a UG2a filter which passes some blue (and ultraviolet that doesn't make through the lens) which is what gives the blue sky effect.

An impressive treatment of the church. The sky looks a little grainy on my screen.
