Make it black & white, and you have a Frank or a Klein, showing the grimness of a place with the touch of romanic dream! As with those guys, it will get published in France before it eventaully sees light in America, when it can no longer be ingnored.

But hey, Gianni Berengo Gardin's seminal book on Venice was turned down by six or seven Italian publishers before a foreigner decided to make it a book, which was then produced in under a month!

Prophets, their own country...

I tried B&W, Rob, but it seemed to lose something. I shot this thing in 2003 -- with an Olympus point and shoot.

If Paris wants to make a deal, I'm in a mood to bargain.
