I am inquiring about permission to use your artwork as an inspiration for the design of my tattoo. I have been searching for photos of the Canadian shield, ... and I found your website. ... I would use these images to show my tattoo artist for his reference photos in designing an original work. Would you be open to this?
How could I say no, especially when the person asked, and asked so nicely. :)

Do ask him to let you photograph his tattoo so you can post it here for us.
This must put you way ahead of Ansel Adams, Eliot Porter, and even Karsh of Ottowa, who, I'll bet, never had such a request.

I meant the entire tattoo. Of course, the nipple will demand different handling depending on the gender of the client.
