Title: IPhone As a digital back

Sometimes late at night some weird ideas come to my head. No drugs except my heart meds are influencing this question. Is there any way to use an iPhone as a digital back for a 4 x 5 camera or even a medium format film camera?

You could have a backbox with a groundscreen, and photograph that.

There was actually a kickstarter project to do that for the Hasselblad V-series
