Yet another interpretation:
The artist statement is, unsurprising, self-absorbed. But the images are interesting, stretching to touch the binary expectations of what landscape photography might be.
Not quite academic or New York fine art, but perhaps, if it's not a bad thing, more accessible.

Interesting photographs; shame about the writing that destroys it by smothering it in more gallerista-speak, which the moment I see it, turns off my ability to accept anything connected as worthwhile.
Next time, I'm sure there will be deep invocations of spirits and ancient peoples with mystical powers of flight...
