Title: Hensel Integra 500 e1 error
Post by: DavidPalermo on May 12, 2019, 09:09:11 pm
I have 4 Hensel Integra 500s. 2 are about 8 years old. The other 2 are about 2 or 3 years old. The newer ones display e1 errors after awhile. Both were fixed under warranty, one a few months after the other. It takes months to repair these. I picked one up from repair about a month ago and just started using it for the first time. After about 20 mins of just sitting there turned on while fussed with my other light it beeped and displayed “e1”. WTF!? It’s broken again? I only fired it about 5 times.

The 2 older lights have never had this problem. Have any of you had this problem?

I’m thinking of replacing them with another brand. Any suggestions? Not ProFoto - too pricey.

Thanks!

I have the predecessor, the Contra 500’s. There is no software in these ones so no possibility to throw out an e1 error.

Apart from the error, do they work as expected? Would you be able to neglect the error and just work with them?

With respect to alternatives, I’d have a good look into Godox flashes.

Jaap.
