This is an autumn image from a shoot I did scouting out locations before teaching a PODAS workshop for Phase One in Acadia NP. We combined shooting with the Phase gear with printing large prints during the down time during mid day.

Gorgeous.

Nice! The pastel colors and the almost abstract qualities, while subtle, manage to create a decidedly pronounced impression combined as a whole. Well done this.

Thanks Peter and 32BT. I appreciate the kind feedback on this image. Steven

I'll second guess my own opinion with the addition "subtle".

Acadia NP has many opportunities to photograph intimate landscapes. It was a really good choice for the Phase One workshop. Especially, considering the fact that we had a large format printer to use during the workshop. I call these sorts of images that I like to shoot stacked intimate landscapes. Stacked because there are layers of interest in the image. Its hard to get a sense for this sort of image from the web. A big print really makes this image shine. Just my two cents.

I like it very much.

All of the praise is well merited.

That was my impression, too. I'd love to see this image printed about two meters wide.
