Title: Bluebells but no woods

I still need to find a bluebell wood this year but we have plenty of bluebells growing on the open fellside, this is Rannerdale in Cumbria, England. Doesn't renew my "real photographer" status for the year though ;-) Ken

Looks good. There are parts of Dartmoor that look very similar. But you do need to find a wood with bluebells.

Good God you and Bill are both making me long for where I used to go walking with the dog, in an ancient woods called Woolley Woods back in Sheffield (apparently the name is derived from 'Wolf Wood' and was originally part of the great forest that Robin Hood used to ride through). Anyway, here is a link I have just found to these woods at Bluebell time and introduced by a local bloke with the broadest Yorkshire accent I have heard in many a long year - and I think he is trying to talk as posh as he can at that.

Yep all this reminiscing is definitely tugging on my old heart strings.
