I read in other thread > https://forum.luminous-landscape.com/index.php?topic=129347.msg1103589#msg1103589 following.
What I do I take a picture of the sky at f/16 after the shooting to use as a dust reference. That will be the image with the most dust spots. I calibrate the dust removal on that image and apply the same to the other images from that day. Typically, dust spots do not move between pictures.
What is the best practice before or after the shooting.
a) Using a LLC plate? I have it.
b) Using high aperture, f20 or higher?
c) Using distance infinitely?
The result I can use in COP > LCC to delete the dust.

Hi Jochen,
The LCC should be taken with the same aperture and focal distance setting as the actual image(s).
When you refocus, the shadow of the dust may change shape/density a little, and using a narrower aperture will give the dust a sharper contour. When you use the same settings for both the images and the LCC, then the dust shadows will match in brightness and contour.
It's best to take the image and the LCC at roughly the same time, to avoid the dust moving on the sensor in the mean time.

Hello All, same topic, different issue.
When I apply my LCC correction to pictures taken with a 32mm on my Phase One XT, IQ4, I now get a faded reddish hue in the previously dark areas.
This did not happen with my older back.
Yes, in images without much shifting the LCC does not seem necessary but
despite using a center filter, I still need an LCC when making stitch panoramas.
I realize I could create a library of LCC. Haven't yet.
Have you encountered this? Is there a fix?

I am not shooting with the XT, but I do shoot with IQ4 and Rodenstock 32mm on Cambo 1600. I have not experienced this, you might DM Steve Hendrix or Doug Peterson and see if they have seen this.
