Thanks everyone for your feedback.

We are in the middle of a massive snow storm right now in central Oregon. Some good photo opportunities arising--but first I have to go out and dig out my driveway before I am completely blocked in.

I was going to overlook this image, thinking it was old post. But I was wrong. One of the best snow scenes I have seen. It has a painterly majesty.

Thank you, John. I appreciate your exceptionally generous comments.

Only thing is, though currently in the midst of a snow storm generating some fantastic opportunities, I may now be reluctant to post more snow scenes for fear of failing to measure up.  :)
