Title: Arca Swiss D4 top plate removal
Post by: felix5616 on February 16, 2019, 12:02:10 pm
I have an Arca Swiss D4 that I would like to replace the screw clamp with a lever clamp. I tried unsuccessfully to remove the existing screw clamp but it would not budge. Any suggestions other than sending it in for service?

Precision camera repair. Outside of Chicago.

They can install a Arca or RRS lever clamp.

I would go with the RRS.

Arca uses something like glue to install the clamp. I would not try to break the seal.

Which RRS lever is recommended for the Arca Swiss D4?

This is the one I had installed, on D4 geared head.

They stock the clamp from RRS.
