Title: Quality of the Nikon AF-S 60mm F/2.8G ED micro lens + with ES2 adapter

I have a D850 and would like to scan some 35mm slides and negatives.

Now Nikon has made the ES2 adapter specially for this purpose and recommends using it with the Nikon AF-S 60mm F/2.8G ED micro lens.
Is there anybody here who has experience with the lens and or the combo?
