Very powerful image.
It's frightening the way it pulls me in.

Wonderful!

Very good the way the branches seem to be gripping the ice, well seen.

Way cool. I saw something like this happen many years ago on the Lake Michigan shoreline during a very cold snap.

Thank you all for your thoughts. Having made my way to the spot yesterday after seeing it first through binoculars, and although I'm not quite walking safely yet, I must admit while there,  I had the growing feeling I could fly as my vision swept this universe. Batteries went dead in the cold before I could manage more than a few, and would have liked to maneuver to a few more,  but just selfish to feel that way as being able to be present before the snows buried it from view was really gift enough. I'm glad you could enjoy it too.

Patricia, a very good catch indeed, i can't add much to what the others have already said. You mentioned walking safely, have you been injured?

No worries Kevin. Bionic repairs the price of new lease. All's good. Happy camper~

I came late to this image. Everything that needs to be said has been said.
