I have the tiny Sunpack for ages, and thought it would be cool to finally get a new bigger ringlight to shoot people full body, and sync with other lights.
I got the Paul Buff. Great price, looks good, great support. Only thing I've discovered is with full frame, it has a hard time working with wide angle lenses. The 24-105 Canon, cannot make it out of the unit, so it at 24 it vingnettes . And I have a Sigma super wide 12-24 coming this month (back ordered)
I have Profoto D1's, so I can't go Profoto. (I almost got Acutes but settled on D1's)
And other options for larger power ringlight with D1s?
(Sunpack never had issue as it just went on outside of lens)
