I watched a PS tutorial showing how to create Painting effect. I have the Latest PS CC classic and its no where to be found . I believe its called the smoothing brush. You use it to smooth out the Facial skin and looks so good.
Is there a replacement brush for it ? Has it been removed? I appreciate if I can locate it so I can continue with my painting effect. Thank you

I'm assuming you mean either the blur tool or the smudge tool. Both are part of the same tool group, about midway down the tool bar between the gradient/paint bucket tool and the dodge/burn tool.

I think it is called the smudge tool. I saw it used to smooth out the face and neck . Is this the one that I can use? Thanks so much for the reply

1. Hold down Control Key...
2. Click on tool bar shown....
3. Select the tool from the flyout as shown...
I don't know how to explain this any easier.

Right Click on the icon with the three dots or three squares and it will display the rest of the available tools as shown in the following images

The first screen capture, you're clicking on the WRONG tool in the first place. So no, nothing you do will have the Smudge Tool show up there!
