Title: A little bit of Autumn (Fall)
Post by: Dave (Isle of Skye) on January 01, 2019, 05:58:57 pm
Shot somewhere in the Rockies and it was one of those, see it, jump out of the car and shoot it before the clouds change and the composition is gone, sort of drive-by-shootings if I am honest, and right next door to a large wooden house/hut/shop kind of building, with the words "Got Weed" emblazoned in several foot high letters across its entire roof. I suggested we might go inside and take a look around and perhaps see what kind of exotic delights were on sale, but my other half had already assumed one of those arms folded, furrowed brow stares, that told me in no uncertain terms that this was never going to happen...

The small part of the tree with the autumn colour in full swing, is an Arizona Walnut I believe and they were everywhere alongside the rivers banks and roads and at their absolute peak when we were there - oh and this is absolutely NOT a colour popped image by the way, but is exactly how it looked at the time I shot it and is pretty much straight out of the camera, other than the removal of a few dust spots.

Thanks everyone and yes the colour palette was indeed the composition that I was looking at when I took this shot  ;)
