Title: i1Profiler chart question.........
Post by: howardm on December 28, 2018, 12:04:56 pm
If I have a certain i1P patch set and an i1Pro2, can I set i1Profiler to create charts using the i1io as the device but read them
on a regular (manual) table (aluminum slider widget)?

I would think I could since the i1io is just a i1Pro2 but perhaps the patch size is getting to be too small for sufficient # of
reads of each patch when using your elbow/forearm vs the i1io.

You can but you'll need to add the black registration lines on the left and right sides of the patches. It's also a good idea to align them such that the RGB values of the patches read in the same sequence. Experiment. I've done a similar thing with I1iSis charts. For those I remove the diamond alignment marks as well. Fairly simple Photoshop effort. It's a good idea to make the patches at least 8mm or larger too.

Thank you.

I didn't know that the i1Pro2 patch read routines in i1P 'use' those 1-2mm black lines to indicate start/stop but that does make 100% sense and that the i1io doesn't (I guess you use the plastic cross-hairs to line up the center of the corner patches or something like that).
